Shana Teugels (°1987) studied at the St. Lucas University College of Art and Design in Antwerp, her hometown. For her jewelry she uses a design which is a processing of her own world, while performing continuous research into the relationship between jewelry, objects and ‘kitsch’. Altough her work questions the relevance of- , it also revolves around the aesthetic conventions of traditional jewelry.
